Booking & Payments
How do I book my portrait session?
You can book by contacting us at (629) 321-8556 or through our online form. A 25% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your date.
Do you accept payment in installments?
We process all payments through Stripe, which accepts credit and debit cards. The 25% retainer is paid at booking and the balance is due 7 days before the session.
What is the cancellation policy for portrait sessions?
The 25% retainer is non-refundable if you cancel. If you need to reschedule due to bad weather, we do so at no extra charge. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the session.

Sessions & Events
Where do portrait sessions take place?
We offer outdoor sessions at selected locations in Nashville and surrounding areas, as well as at churches or event venues upon request. We discuss the best option for your vision with you.
Can the photographer use flash inside the church?
Each church has its own rules regarding flash use and movement during the ceremony. We always verify restrictions in advance and use natural light techniques when flash is not permitted.
How many hours of coverage do I need for a quinceañera?
Our packages cover between 4 and 10 hours. We recommend at least 6 hours to cover preparations, the mass, the reception, and all the special moments of the celebration.
Do you capture the changing of the shoes and the last doll?
Absolutely. The shoe-changing ceremony (cambio de zapatillas), the last doll (última muñeca), and all traditional rituals are priority moments we never miss.
Do you photograph Hispanic traditions like the lasso and the coins?
Absolutely. The lasso ceremony (el lazo), the coins (las arras), la víbora de la mar, and the money dance are moments we know well and never miss. They are part of what makes us unique.
What types of events do you cover?
We cover birthdays, family reunions, neighborhood parties, cultural celebrations, anniversaries, and more. If you have a special event, contact us to see how we can help.
After Your Session
How long does it take to deliver quinceañera photos?
Quinceañera photos are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. The careful editing process takes time to ensure every image is perfect.
How long until I receive my portrait photos?
We deliver portrait photos within 2 to 3 weeks after the session. You will receive a link to your private online gallery by email.
Do you have access to photos online after the wedding?
Yes, your private online gallery will be available with cloud storage for 2 years. You can share the link with family members and download images at any time.
How many photos will I receive from my portrait session?
Depending on the package, you will receive between 20 and 60 professionally color-corrected photos. All images are delivered print-ready and shareable.

Can the godparents appear in the photos?
Absolutely! At Bella Luz Fotografía we consider godparents immediate family and include them in the session at no extra charge. They are an essential part of these special moments.
Do you work with Spanish-speaking churches in Nashville?
Yes, we work with Spanish-speaking religious communities throughout Nashville and the metropolitan area. We are familiar with the traditions and protocol of these celebrations.
When should I book the photographer for my quinceañera?
We recommend booking 6 to 12 months in advance, especially for weekend dates in spring and summer. Quinceañeras are very popular and dates fill up quickly.
Can you photograph an event in another county near Nashville?
Yes, we cover Nashville and surrounding areas including Murfreesboro, Franklin, Smyrna, and other nearby cities. Contact us to confirm availability and travel fees.
Is the newborn session done at home or in a studio?
We do lifestyle sessions in the family's home. This allows the baby to be comfortable in their environment, the family to relax, and the photos to be authentic and natural.
